Jeanne T. Korn
“Our bodies are vessels for spirit. My intention is to support my students to release tension, replenish their natural life force and re-align with their true selves.”
Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 500) with over 12 years teaching experience, Jeanne is currently working with Hathavidya on her 1000 hour advanced certification.
She leads with variety of approaches and is especially passionate about Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga, guiding all levels through gentle, mindful classes with an easy grace, a playful joy and an ever-evolving balance of effort and ease.
In her Restorative classes she transforms traditional poses into a therapeutic healing experience, through gentle variations, props and blankets for support, guided imagery, essential oils and lots of adjustments with her healing touch.
Jeanne leads workshops and retreats around the USA, including Gentle Flow, Therapeutic and her unique Shamanic Restorative Yoga, which combines gentle Yoga with the ancient healing art of Shamanic Journeying. She is the Restorative teacher in many teacher trainings, where she gives students an extensive Restorative understanding as well as valuable tools to enhance their practice and teachings.
With a background in traditional Ashtanga, she is certified in Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga, and as a Licensed Massage Therapist she brings unique insights on how energy moves through the body, an extensive understanding of Anatomy & Physiology, as well as her gift of touch therapy.
Jeanne co-founded the Therapeutic Yoga program at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, where she worked with COPD Lung patients helping them in their rehabilitation efforts.
