Alexandra DeMartini – Reiki Healer
From a young age, Alexandra has felt a strong connection to metaphysical practices. Having healers and readers as family members and close family friends all her life, falling into Reiki felt like second nature. While studying Communication at USC, she spent her summers in her hometown, Sacramento studying Reiki and participating in Reiki circles as a practitioner. Her training and certification was based in the Usui System of Natural Healing, a system of healing established in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui. She has been a certified Reiki practitioner since 2010.
Not long after Alexandra became a Reiki Master and subsequently a healer and medicine woman amongst her friends. Since graduating she has been practicing Reiki for people all over Los Angeles. After practicing yoga at Liberation for two years she is thrilled to bring her healing practice to the studio. Beyond the Reiki treatment, she provides her clients with meditations and various practices to sustain their energy shift. Her goal is to empower her clients to heal themselves. Liberation Yoga has always given Alexandra a sense of peace while navigating the at times chaotic LA life style. She is very grateful to be a part of the studio.

Xindi Cui - Massage Therapist
Fifteen years ago, Xindi Cui left her life as a nurse in China to come to the United States. Her nursing background allowed her to secure a job as a therapeutic Massage Therapist. Her passion in having a career that helps people, led her to continue her education at Santa Monica City College, UCLA Extension and The Dr. Vodder School of Manuel Lymph Drainage. Her specialty is a technique she learned in China from Traditional Chinese Medicine called Tui na. Xindi is also skilled in Swedish, Prenatal and Manual Lymph Drainage. She has made it her life’s mission to understand the body and learn how to best relieve pain, stress and discomfort for her clients.
Tui na Massage - Tui na means push pull. It makes use of rhythmic compression techniques along the acupressure meridians of the body to release blockages and establish harmonious flow of Qi. Tui na works with energy channels to balance the yin and yang in the body and promote healing within.

Prenatal Massage - Pregnancy is an exciting time of life, where the body is undergoing amazing physical transformations. Some of these changes can be challenging for women, and massage is a wonderful modality to nurture both the body and soothe the child growing within. Massage can address specific side effects that accompany each trimester of pregnancy, including, back pain, sciatica, swelling and circulation issues.

Swedish Massage - This deeply relaxing style of massage can both soothe and invigorate the body. Oil is used so hands glide in long fluid strokes and kneading on the topmost layers of the skin to alleviate discomfort and transport the client into a state of tranquility. If you have muscle tension, knots, adhesions or scar tissue, Swedish can help you unwind and restore the body.
Benefits may include: Promotes deep relaxation • Improves and helps build the immune system preventing colds and the flu • Improve circulation by increasing oxygen in the blood
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) - A specific light-touch gentle technique created to detoxify and enhance the immune system. MLD helps move the lymph fluid in the body, so it can deliver nutrients, remove extra fluid and clean toxins that can compromise health. If the lymph system doesn’t flow properly, swelling in the body may occur. This technique uses slow rhythmic strokes on the top surface of the skin to promote healing and regeneration. It is highly beneficial for the nervous system, inducing relaxation, lowering blood pressure, and reducing tension. MLD is a preventative modality used to keep the body healthy and balanced.
Benefits May include: Deep relaxation for stress, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraines and sinus congestion • Balance hormones to reduce acne and wrinkles • Reduce swelling, fluid retention, and inflammation to help chronic conditions • Soothes and eases neurological side effects of Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis
